Bhuvneshwar Kumar
When it comes to the current bowling line up of Indian Cricket team, the name which every Indian cricket fan loves to hear is BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR (Bhuvi). The young lad of Meerut started his career as a medium pace bowler and has now become a gem for Indian cricket team.
The medium pacer was born in February 05, 1990 in Luharli of Meerut. His father Kiran Pal Singh was an ASP with the Uttar Pradesh Police and his mother Indresh Mavi is a housewife. Rekha Adhana his sister played a vital role in his life by encouraging him to play cricket.
DOMESTIC CAREER
Bhuvi started his cricketing career at the age of 13 and within no time he became a part of The Uttar Pradesh team in Domestic Cricket and made his debut against Bengal at the age of 17.He also played for the Central Zone in Duleep Trophy. By scoring 128 off 312 balls in Domestic Cricket he proved that he is not only a excellent bowler but also capable lower order batsman. In 2008/09 Bhuvi became the first bowler to dismiss Sachin Tendulkar for a duck in First Class Cricket.
IPL CAREER
Due to his mesmerizing performance in 2008/09 season of Ranji Trophy, he was signed by Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB). In 2011 Bhuvi was released by RCB and later on was signed by PUNE WARRIORS. While playing for PUNE WARRIORS he grabbed attention of crowd and commentators by his fabulous bowling skills. This took him a step ahead in his cricketing career.
When Pune Warriors was banned from IPL, he was signed by SUNRISERS HYDERABAD in 2014. Taking 23 wicket in 2016 season of IPL Bhuvi became the highest wicket taker and earned the purple cap. In IPL 2017 he regained the purple cap by taking 26 wickets.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar made his debut in T20 against Pakistan in 2012 and gave a stellar performance with the ball (3 for 9 in 4overs). His ODI debut was also against Pakistan and he showed his class by dismissing Mohammad Hafeez in the very first ball he bowled. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the first bowler to take debut wickets in T20, ODI and TEST as bowled.
Bhuvi made his test debut on 22 Feb 2013 against Australia in the Border- Gavaskar Trophy. The debutant made the crowd know his talent in the same series by taking 6 wickets in four matches and showed his fabulous batting skills by building a 140 runs partnership for the 9thwicket with M.S.Dhoni. That eye catching 9th wicket partnership not only led Team India to victory but also made him a part of few records.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has faced a lots of ups and downs in his career. Kumar faced the worst days of his life when he was dropped from The Indian Cricket Team. But he never took a step back. He continued his hard work and again after few months reclaimed his position in the Indian team. And has now become an inspiration for many youngsters.
