CRICKETERS WHO MADE A DEBUT IN THE NATIONAL TEAM AT A VERY EARLY AGE

Every athlete who practices his discipline has the aim of representing his country at the International Level and make fame for him as well as his motherland. This dream of his life comes true on the date of his debut. So the debut has a very important part in the career of an athlete. Some are so talented that they see this particular date even before they have the right to vote or even before becoming adolescent.

So here let us discuss some of the youngest debutants in the history of cricket.

HASAN RAZA (Pakistan)

All it happened at the tender age of 14 years and 227 days when he was handed over the Pakistani Cap for the first time. At the age when kids are busy mugging of their school syllabus for the exams he was given the responsibility of batting against the fastest of the bowlers the world had ever seen. He had a decent debut but could not make it up to what the selectors wanted and was soon discarded by the management. Hasan Raza is currently in his late 30s and continues to play cricket in the domestic arena and continues to eye for a comeback into the Pakistani International Team.

He did not have prominent Test career but was much successful in the shorter format of the game by taking 182 wickets in 163 ODIs.

Sachin Tendulkar made his debut against Pakistan in the year 1989 in Karachi.  As a young kid of age 16 years and 206 days, he faced the brutal bowlers as likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Imran Khan etc. what he has done in the next years of his cricketing career is history. He has made and remade records some of which can never be broken as expected.

AFTAB BALOCH (Pakistan)

Aftab Baloch is not a very big name known by many people in cricket but had come into the limelight when he made his debut against New Zealand at Dhaka at an age of 16 years and 221 days.
