Which Players Can Solve Indian Middle Order Debacle ?

India’s batting line-up has always been the best in ODI’s. The entire batting line up of India is full of talented cricketers. These men in blues never fail to show their class and if sometimes one fails the next one gets ready to score for the team. In a batting line up the openers are mainly responsible for a giving a good start to the team and middle order batsmen are meant to build an innings.

The middle orders are main hope for the team after the dismissal of openers as they help the team to be in the game and put a good target on the scoreboard. Though the Indian openers are giving an awesome start to the team, the middle order is continuously failing to perform which is affecting the scoreboard of the team.
Some players have been already given a chance for the middle order position but were unable to perform. Now India has only 8 months and 24 ODI’s before the WORLD CUP and thus the team management is now in search of players who could consistently perform for the team in the middle order.
So here are some of the names of Indian players who can be given a chance for the middle order.

DINESH KARTIK
Kartik being an experienced player has the quality to build an innings and help the team to put a good score on the scoreboard. Some of the trailers of his awesome innings in the middle order was seen in the IPL 2018, where KKR’s top order used to collapse very early and Kartik took the responsibility in the middle order and scored runs for his team. So, His experience, patience, and class will help him a lot to score for the Indian team in the middle order.

AMBATI RAYUDU
Though Rayudu’s performance was not that good few years back but his comeback this year is really appreciable. His splendid innings in IPL was really mind-boggling. In 16 matches he scored 602 runs which involved 1 century and 3 half-centuries with a strike rate of 149.75. Continuing his form he was able to score a couple of runs for the team in Asia Cup 2018. He is one of the kinds who can play both attacking as well as defensive cricket and can be consistent. So he might be a good contender for the No.4 spot.

OUR OPINION
According to me giving M S DHONI a chance for the No.4 spot will be a great decision by the team management as he is a player who has the ability to play either when the team is completely collapsed and big hits are required to reach the score on the board or when the top order has collapsed and the team requires a player who can build a good innings for the team and put a respectable score on the board. Along with that being an experienced player, he knows the way to make others play the game and this will be very much profitable for the team.

Some other contenders for the No.4 spot are -:

MANISH PANDEY
SHREYAS IYER
SURESH RAINA
